Himasper have held the Green Belt Conservation (GBC) Seagrass on 18-19 August 2016 in Pari Island, Thousand Islands. Seagrass GBC 2016 was attended by 32 students of the Department of Water Resource Management, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Bogor Agricultural University.
This activity Dawali with a public lecture on seagrass general overview and explanation of how planting seagrass is good and right, by Drs. Wawan Kiswari, M.Sc, seagrass expert from the Center for Oceanographic Research Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI P2O). Then, followed by the planting of seagrass in one of the coastal parts of Pari Island Student MSP IPB and the team from LIPI, and ended with a group photo on the first day.
The next day after cleaning the beach area by all participants GBC GBC Seagrass Seagrass 2016. The series of events in 2016 was closed with a tribute to the red and white flag to commemorate Indonesia’s independence day, which falls on 17 August.
